The International Association of Online Communicators (IAOC) fifth annual conference was held in Washington, DC on October 1-2. Communication professionals, educators, and graduate students made paper presentations on Thursday and Friday. Friday's luncheon was co-sponsored by PRSA-National Capital Chapter and included a keynote address on online media by Edelmen Digital's Insights expert Steve Rubel. Rubel is well known to IAOC members, having participated in the 2004 IAOC blogfest and our panel discussion at the PRSA 2004 International conference, the first time ever PRSA had blogging on their conference agenda.
